11+ Tuition - Medway, Kent and Bexley Test

Our 11+ tuition programme is designed to prepare children for the Medway, Kent, Bexley and other grammar school entrance exams.

Every child begins with an initial assessment to identify strengths and areas for development in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Using this information, we create a personalised study plan tailored to each student’s individual needs, ability level and target areas.

Our 11+ lessons combine timed practice to develop exam technique and time management skills, alongside focused topic work to strengthen understanding in weaker areas. Each child’s progress is monitored closely, with work regularly reviewed and updated to ensure steady improvement throughout their preparation.

Students attend either one or two hours per week, although we require all Year 5 pupils to attend for two hours to ensure they receive sufficient preparation before the 11+ exams. Weekly homework is set and marked by our tutors so that any gaps in knowledge can be identified and addressed quickly.

From March in Year 5, students also complete regular 11+ practice papers at home under mock exam conditions. These become more frequent as the Kent, Medway and Bexley 11+ exams approach, helping children become fully familiar with the format, timing and pressure of the real tests.
